A green field White Marble mines in Chau Tien Quy Hop District, Nghe An Province, Vietnam was started by Wolkem in 2009 under the name of Lam Hong Limited., the deposit is a true repository of the highest quality Marble available in Nghe An Province and it also represents the highest quality of natural White limestone/calcite, the mines which are spread across a 45hectare area and is projected to sustain it yields well into the future

Competitive edge in Mining Marble

In 2009 Wolkem was amongst a handful companies in Vietnam to obtain a central mining licence for Marble and White Limestone and the only Indian company in mining in Nghe An Province. Wolkem has over 35years experience in mining and undertakes, scientific and safe mining practises, while deploying the latest mining machines and equipments.

In processing Marble

The Marble Mined by Lam Hong Limited is sold in Block form to its captive Marble processing plant in Thai Hoa Town, Nghe An Province, as well as to other processors in Vietnam and globally.

The marble processing plant is operated by Wolkem Stones Ltd., a Wolkem India Subsidiary deploying  international standard process control and manufacturing practises in its modern processing plant.

In mining and processing White Limestone

Besides White Marble, at Lam Hong Ltd. mines, there is large scale production of White Limestone, which is the purest form of Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) occurring naturally in crystalline, rhomboheral shape. The White Limestone is sold in Lump and Chip sizes to its captive Ground Calcium Carbonate (GCC) (GCC) processing plant in Thai Hoa Town, Nghe An Province, as well as to other customers in Vietnam and globally.
